regarding the attempt to derail the Sabarmati Express by tying a boulder to the track on the Jhansi route is yet to yield concrete results. On Sunday night, an attempt was made to derail the Kalindi Express by placing a gas cylinder on the tracks between Kanpur and Bilhour. The North Eastern Railway has ordered a high-level investigation. Previously, on August 16, the 19168 Sabarmati Express traveling from Kanpur to Ahmedabad derailed with 22 coaches, including the engine, after hitting a boulder near Govindpuri and Bhimsen. Investigations by the Senior Administrative Grade (SAG), District Police, and NIA revealed that a 1.10-meter piece of old rail track was tied to the track using bolts. The piece of rail was found at the accident site. On August 24, a passenger train traveling from Farrukhabad to Kasganj narrowly avoided a major accident when a pile of wood was placed on the tracks. The train's high speed averted a major disaster. All three incidents involved the tracks, and the Railway Intelligence Agency suspects a conspiracy. Rajendra Singh, PRO of Izzatnagar, stated that the driver, Rajkishore, reported the incident involving the gas cylinder placed on the tracks in front of the Kalindi Express.
