Similarly, MEMU trains on the Guwa and Badampahar routes, arriving at night, are now being parked in the goods yard. This is to ensure that all five platforms at Tatanagar station remain available for long-distance trains. The order to clear platforms came after a report in Hindustan Daily on September 30 highlighted passenger complaints about train delays due to trains being held outside the station. The article also mentions the practice of storing empty coaches at smaller stations like Chaibasa and Bahalda due to a lack of lines at Tatanagar. To ensure the timely departure of the South Bihar Express, the DRM has allocated platforms 4 and 5 for engine changes. This is meant to minimize the time required for engine replacement.

Wahi, raat me aane wali Guwa aur Badampahar samेत aur bhi margo ki MEMU trains ko bhi goods yard me rakha ja raha hai, taki Tatanagar station ke paanchno platform lambi duri ki trains ke liye khali rahe. Hindustan Daily ne 30 September ke ank me trains ki latlatifi se pareshan yaatriyon ki pratikriya prakasit ki thi. Yaatriyon ne bataya tha ki zyadatar trains station ke pehle rukne ke karan late hoti hain. Iske baad railway me platform khali rakhne ka order hua hai. Jaankaar batata hai ki line ki kami ke karan abhi Tatanagar se khulne wali kai trains ke khali coach ko railway Chaibasa aur Bahalda samet aur bhi chhote stations ke aaspaas khade karta hai. South Bihar Express ko bhi time se chalane ke liye DRM ne pehle up-down me four-five number platform nirdharit kiya tha, taki engine badalne me zyada samay na lage.

South Eastern Railway ne 17 aur 18 October ko Tata, Hatia aur Rourkela ke beech chalne wali 34 trains ko cancel kar diya hai. Yeh decision is route par different stations pe ho rahe developmental work ki wajah se liya gaya hai. Railway ne is baare mein notification jaari kiya hai.
