Passengers planning to go to Guruvayur, (the abode of Lord Vishnu on earth) can alight here and take a bus or a passenger train from here. Guruvayur is around 23 kms from here. It is one of the most thronged and popular religious / pilgrimage destination in South India. One can also witness the daily procession of Lord on an elephant in this temple.

Also, Passengers from Mangalore & beyond (towards Mumbai) can alight here to catch a connecting train to Palghat, Coimbatore & beyond. A alternative connecting point

Those who are coming from PGT and TVC side, Alight here for Guruvayoor (GUV), Buses start from 0400hrs and runs till 2200hrs. From 0400hrs till 0700 hrs one can board the bus from junction near station (Deewanji Moola) after that it's advisable to go to Shaktan bus stand if wishing to sit and travel.Frequency of bus is one every five minutes
