earlier number of derailment was more... and since last few years, number of collisions is more... this is really serious.
derailment may happen due to many different reasons but for collisions, it is more of human mistakes.

Whats wrong in this 40 km stretch between rangapani mayanaguri that two big fatal railway accidents happened in last two years.HCPV somehow have saved many lives but still death toll is 15+.Railway should look towards the safety of passengers and took this matter seriously looks like signalling problem they should improve the signalling system and prioritise LHB conversion they are running summer special with LHB coaches but old train like kanchenjunga still in ICF if LHB it would have ran no death or very less could be (excluding LP/ALPs of goods train).
@Mridul has only motive to only criticize the LP.

Piyush Goyal was RM when, there was Covid,(talking about 2020) a natural advantage. Otherwise the condition was same, percentage gone from 0.6 to 0.5 only this is improved, otherwise Don't forget the Amritsar train disaster and when Hundry Express was rammed at Kacheguda.
And RM Ashwini Vaishnav name should be changed VB Minister. Only focus VB and AB trains.

It's unfair to criticize Ashwini Vaishnaw for this one accident, but in general, he has been below par. All fancy stuff but overall deterioration of even basic services. He isn't the right person for IR even not considering this accident. Also should be seen whether LP was overworked or the signal was obscured by something rather than just blame the dead LP, which is the easiest getaway here.

Gyanendra~ 447 blog postsThe only solution to this problem is that all loco pilots will have to jointly lead an operation and this operation is to drive all trains below 10 kmph in all conditions until railways seriously does something in this matter regarding the safety of the trains. Whether it is Goods Train or Rajdhani Express or Vande Bharat Express, drive the train below 10 kmph, even when signal is green, so that after looking any obstruction on the tracks, the loco pilot can stop the train immediately by applying normal brakes and this operation should be launched all over india at the same time. Otherwise Railways will continue to kill the passengers, the loco pilots, the guards. I can see this as the only solution for the safety of the passengers, the loco pilots and the guards.

Sarkari Naukri hai bhai isiliye log kar rahe hain physical aur mental stress ke baad bhi ... Switch karne ka koi option thodi hai unke paas like private corporate jobs jaha har 2 saal me log badal lete hai company .. ab hasker Karo ya ro -dho kar Karo unki majburi hai.
Someone understanding the frustrations of people doing sarkaari Naukri nahi toh logo ko toh bas lagta hai inke maje hi maje hai
If there is mental and physical stress, then why to do Sarkari Naukri? Better go for private jobs. Don't prepare for railway jobs. Prepare for teacher, JSSC, JPSC or do something else like running a shop.
I am working in Jharkhand Secretariat in the post of Section Officer. In my office a lot of people have joined as Assistant Section Officer in 2016 after resigning from railways. Who says they can't switch job?
There's reason why railways giving tenders and shifting into private sector ... ;) iykuk
