Each train consists of two AC three-tier coaches, 19 sleeper coaches, and two luggage/brake van coaches. They will stop at various stations along the route, including Nagercoil, Sattur, Kovilpatti, Tirunelveli, Valliyur, Chengalpet, Villupuram, Vriddhachalam, Trichy, Dindigul, Madurai, and Virudhunagar. Train No. 06003 (Chennai Egmore - Coimbatore special) will depart from Chennai Egmore at 4:25 PM on April 18 and 20, reaching Coimbatore the next day at 8:20 AM. Train No. 06004 (Coimbatore - Chennai Egmore special) will depart from Coimbatore at 8:40 PM on April 19 and 21, reaching Chennai Egmore the following day at 10:05 AM. These trains will make stops at stations including Cuddalore, Chidambaram, Sirkazhi, Vaitheeswarankoil, Mayiladuthurai, Kumbakonam, Papanasam, Thanjavur, Trichy, Manaparai, Dindigul, Oddanchatram, Palani, Udumalaipettai, Pollachi, Kinathukadavu, and Podanur.
