Look at UBL station, one has to agree that it is better than SC/MAS/SBC and so on.. But look at other stations in UBL division, is any station developed? Specially in Gadag - Hotgi line, Platforms are there on mainlines so if a passenger is standing on that station, a non-stopping express train has to take a loop line to cross that station. No intermediate station is more than 9 bogies long, they don't have much facilities to the people. On the other hand, look at intermediate stations in SCR, all are at least 20 coach long with platforms on the loop line of the station, well equipped with drinking water facility and very cleanly maintained. That's how a Zonal HQ should be protecting interests of others instead of spending money on it's own.
