Agree that GR had the advantage of falling under Mumbai - Chennai main line but it was nullified by SUR's attitude towards GR. No single express train starting from GR. While UBL always had the advantage by being division under SCR and then Zonal HQ of SWR from more than a decade. In terms of cities, UBL is always far ahead than GR. But has UBL proposed to run a train from SBC to GR which would have been maintained by SBC?? Not at all. While it started all loss making UBL-KCVL, UBL-MAS, UBL-LTT trains (Irrespective of slots, as of today they are flop), it didn't show interest in any other part of Karnataka. While it has doubled TK - SBC line, still YNK-YPR and YNK-SBC are single lines. This shows the real face of UBL.

if it has doubled SBC TK then it has also electrified ur GTL line, mys line... UBL is in itself developing to get new and straight lines, compare SWR route of SBC and UBl, UBL by all direction is still in single lines,,, Its RM who decides the projects..
dont forget it is UBL HQ which is running trains from SBC to other long distance destinations, if Gulbarga falls after wadi,then whats the quest of UBL, they cannot go on wasting fuel by letting it go via SUr, by kCG they r getting shortest route... YPR-LKO,YPR-GKP etc etc

regarding station terminus, YPR station is developed very beautifully, SBC can't be further developed in terms of structure because congestion....
UBL has now got good envt that too only on PLAT 01 ONLY, stil PLAT 2,3,4,5 are very pathetic equivalent to YPR,SBC....
dear, MYS,ASK,DVG,Harihar, BWT fall on SWR only, Bagalkot line is developed on modern terms.. if move towards new model, every station has main line in plat itself, because its very easy for passenger train to pick up speed instead moving in loops again n again, n my dear same is

YPR doesn't have foot over bridge where it is needed - At the entrance! It connects only pf 2-3. While the entrance is at one end, FoB is there almost on the other end, which causes so much trouble to the elderly. And it is no way beautiful! You must have visited SC, 3 FoB's are there one in the centre and 2 on either ends with escalators on all 10 PF's in the central FoB. My dear MYS,ASK,DVG,HRR falls under MYS division and BWT under SBC division, there is absolutely no problem with these 2 divisions. There is nothing called new model, see GTL - AD section and DMM - GTL section, so many new stations have come up, all have PF on loop line and not on main line. And it is more logical to give importance to long distance express trains than to passenger trains as they will...

stop at the station for sure. But non stop express trains has to slow down. pass station in 15 kmph, join main line and pick up speed. The entire process will take 8-10 mins otherwise which should have been done in less than a minute and guess what it will delay the standing passenger also! To conclude, it will save lot of time to both non stopping as well as stopping train if PF is there on loop line.

Common dear, what are you comparing? Double line Vs Electrified line?? I don't think I have to answer to this question. Anyway, for your info, no electric loco will run in this line for 3 more years. Now will you take this as a failure of UBL to introduce electric locos in this line even though it is electrified ( as mentioned by you). I don't understand why you are mentioning geographical locations of WADI and GR. Anyway, apart from Rajdhani and Duronto, no SWR train is running on the route that you have mentioned. YPR - LKO is running on YPR-DMM-GY-KCG route and not bypassing WADI. All YPR-GKP Exp's are owned by NER and not SWR. Coming to MYS-BSB, it was gift by Kharge and UBL has no role to play in that, if it really had any role, it would have touched UBL. I don't know how can...
