** All the passenger trains are bound to take reversal at Maroda, as the Maroda- Deobaloda Charoda direct line section falls under the premises of Bhilai Steel Plant.
** This section connects peripheral yard with Ind.Rly network, where iron ore/ limestone loaded trains coming via Maroda and coal/coke loaded freight trains coming via DevBaloda Charoda are received and unloaded.
** So, only the freight trains destined to & originating from Bhilai Steel Plant operate on this section.

more... Moreover Maroda Rly Stn is located at extreme outer of the city, far away from population, it lacks public transport connectivity. It would be difficult for Durg/Bhilai people to board trains, they may prefer bus.
** This rail line was constructed for operating freight train connectivity to Bhilai Steel Plant. To facilitate operation of pax. train without reversal at Maroda, construction of a chord line just before Maroda station is required with construction of a new station. New station is justified as distance between Maroda railway station and Durg or Bhilai Nagar railway station is large about 11kms.
** There is a track that directly connects Maroda with Bhilai nagar, so train shall not touch Durg and no reversal required at Durg and Durg people may board train at Bhilai nagar
