The station's construction is progressing, with the project director highlighting safety measures like ventilation systems and emergency tunnels. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will lay the foundation stone for the project today, which includes 2,000 railway infrastructure projects worth over ₹41,000 crores. The project is 60-65% complete, with track work starting next month. Sikkim, previously without a railway station, will be connected with the Rangpo station, the first railway station in the state. The project, initiated in 2009, will include five stations: Sivok, Rangpo, and three open crossing stations. The tunnel construction utilizes the advanced NATM (New Austrian Tunnelling Method) and is overseen by international consultants for quality and safety.

Station ka construction chal raha hai, aur project director safety measures jaise ventilation systems aur emergency tunnels ke baare mein bata rahe hain. Aaj Prime Minister Narendra Modi is project ka foundation stone rakhne wale hain, jismein 2,000 railway infrastructure projects hain, jinki value ₹41,000 crore se zyada hai. Project 60-65% complete ho chuka hai, aur track ka kaam next month se shuru ho jaayega. Pehle railway station na hone ke baad, Sikkim, Rangpo station ke saath connect ho jaayega, jo ki state ka pehla railway station hai. 2009 mein shuru hua yeh project, paanch stations include karega: Sivok, Rangpo, aur teen open crossing stations. Tunnel construction ke liye advanced NATM (New Austrian Tunnelling Method) ka use kiya gaya hai, aur quality aur safety ke liye international consultants supervision kar rahe hain.
