The Railways have also cancelled the Chhapra-Sonepur passenger train till March 31 due to technical reasons. This has caused inconvenience for passengers travelling between Chhapra and Sonepur. Passengers are complaining about the lack of alternative trains, as the intercity express train, which used to run between Chhapra and Samastipur, was also cancelled three years ago. The Chhapra Municipal Corporation has announced that former councilors will receive their 11-month arrears of fixed allowance soon. The state government has approved the payment of a total of ₹2.17 crore as financial assistance for the Mayors, Deputy Mayors, and Ward Councilors of various municipalities across the state. The monthly fixed allowance for the Mayor is ₹12,000, ₹10,000 for the Deputy Mayor, and ₹2,500 for the Ward Councilors. Over 50 permanent employees of the Chhapra Municipal Corporation are facing salary delays for February due to their failure to submit income tax receipts. The corporation is encouraging employees to submit their PAN and Aadhar cards to facilitate the salary payment. An ideal middle school in Ratanpura distributed bags and study materials to students from classes 1 to 3, as part of the Bihar Education Project.

Chhapra Junction ke station master aur station director trains ke operation ko time pe chalane ke liye monitor kar rahe hain. Technical problem ki wajah se Chhapra-Sonepur passenger train ko 31 March tak cancel kar diya gaya hai. Isse Chhapra aur Sonepur ke beech travel karne wale passengers ko bahut pareshani ho rahi hai. Passengers complain kar rahe hain ki alternate trains nahi hain, kyunki Chhapra aur Samastipur ke beech chalne wali intercity express train ko bhi 3 years pehle band kar diya gaya tha. Chhapra Municipal Corporation ne announce kiya hai ki pehle ke councilors ko unka 11 month ka arrears of fixed allowance jaldi milega. State government ne saare municipalities ke Mayor, Deputy Mayor, aur Ward Councilors ko financial assistance ke liye ₹2.17 crore approve kiya hai.
