more... The viaduct is expected to be completed within 600 days, followed by the installation of signals, telecommunication systems, and other infrastructure within six months. The elevated viaduct will include two tracks and 10 stations. The contract for station construction will be awarded later. To manage costs and ensure timely completion, the stations on the Pink Line will be smaller than those on the Aluva-Pettah Blue Line. The stations are planned at Palarivattom, Alinchuvadu, Chembumukku, Vazhakkala, Padamukal, Collectorate Junction, Cochin Special Economic Zone, Chittethukara, Kinfra, and Infopark. The project timeline, from test piling to viaduct commissioning, will be announced on June 28. KMRL will offer incentives to the contractor if the project is completed ahead of schedule. Two 60-meter open-web steel structures, similar to the one near S.N. Junction in Thripunithura, will be built at Palarivattom and near St. Martin's Church.
