With 2 months left to Diwali most UP, Bihar bound trains from Surat full

With Diwali approaching on November 1st, trains from Surat to Uttar Pradesh and Bihar are experiencing high demand, leading to full bookings and long waiting lists. The Surat-Chhapra Clone Special Express was fully booked, while the Valsad-Danapur Express had 144 passengers waiting in Sleeper class. Similar high demand was observed on October 29th, 30th, and 31st, with several trains running full or having lengthy waiting lists. On November 1st, the Udhana-Varanasi Express had 156 passengers waiting in Sleeper class, and the Udhana-Patna train had a waiting list of 126 in Sleeper class. On November 2nd, the Valsad-Muzaffarpur Shramik Express, Bandra-Gorakhpur Express, Surat-Bhagalpur Express, and Udhna-Danapur Express were fully booked. The Western Railway CPRO, Vineet Abhishek, has announced that they are increasing the frequency of special trains and will introduce more trains, particularly unreserved ones, in the future.
