They also urged the minister to expedite the realignment of a short stretch near the Mysuru airport, where electrification is pending due to safety concerns from the Airport Authority of India. Other demands included infrastructure upgrades at Jnanabharathi Hall Station, re-introduction of the Nandi Express, development of a crossing line at Kavalande, a terminal at Naganahalli, a Chamarajangar-Bidar tri-weekly express, direct connectivity from Mysuru to Rajkot, and a Mysuru-Bengaluru-Pune-Mumbai train service.

Activists ne remodelled Ashokapuram railway station ko operationalise karne ki bhi maang ki, jisme MEMU trains ka extension bhi shamil hai, aur unhone Mysuru Junction aur Ashokapuram ke beech ke single track ko double karne ki zarurat par zor diya, kyunki traffic badhne ja raha hai. Unhone minister se Mysuru airport ke paas ek chote se stretch ko realign karne ke liye bhi kaha, jahan electrification Airport Authority of India ki safety concerns ki wajah se pending hai.
